I’ve spent over fifteen years finding the right words for complex ideas. Whether that’s a feature in the New York Times, communicating complex research for a Horizon Europe-funded consortium, or producing a documentary for the Edinburgh Short Film Festival, the challenge is the same: make it clear, make it compelling, make it matter.
My academic background in Biology (University of Cambridge) and Science Communication (Imperial College London) gave me the analytical rigour. A native English speaker living and working in Greece, my years in the field — from environmental broadcast journalism with SKAI TV in Athens to freelancing for the BBC, Deutsche Welle, and the Washington Post — taught me speed, accuracy, and editorial judgement under pressure.
Most recently, I’ve led communication and dissemination for three Horizon Europe research consortia, translating cutting-edge research on AI, high-performance computing, and sustainable aviation into public-facing content that surpassed all project KPIs. Before that I directed communications at Alma Economics, ran an environmental foundation, and served as Digital Editor for one of Greece’s premier English-language publications.
